The use of spreadsheet to analyze qualitative data

This article aims to disseminate a process of collective construction of a qualitative analysis tool based on the use of a common software that is present in commercial computers: the spreadsheet. The organization and use of this digital tool is presented in the context of a research project on teacher education and the use of digital technologies. One of the main conclusions is that no tool by itself can do the analysis, but researchers create it according to their specific research purposes and the possibilities they construct with the tools they have at their fingertips.
