Abstract
This study is a meta-discursive analysisof critical-reflective which addresses major issues related to the use of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) in education in Braziland also suggests how it should bethe new Teaching Profile to use thesetools in their teaching. The integrationof ICT in education can be, dependingon their use, an important tool for improving the teaching-learning process. However, what we see today in Brazilian education is that many teachers do not use these technologies in their teaching practices.
