Abstract

The spinal cord stimulation is considered an effective treatment for patients diagnosed with refractory angina pectoris. Over the time with the results of the clinical trials, is has been positioning as a secure and effective alternative that improves the quality of life in patients. In this article, we made a review of the history, technique, mechanism of action, clinical trial results and how it is being used as an alternative in patients with refractory angina diagnosis.
