Abstract

Meningiomas represent by far the most common benign meningeal tumors, which clinical features are directly in relation with its dimension, location, and the subsequent compression in the continuous neural tissue. Usually, the diagnostic is an incidental finding. Alternatives of treatment vary from patient to patient; in some cases surgical treatment can be a challenge. We present a case report attended in the Emergency Department at San Ignacio University Hospital in 2012, in a patient in whom a giant sellae meningioma was discovered and presented a florid frontal syndrome.
