Resumo
Un hombre de 53 años de edad, con antecedente de trastorno esquizoafectivo, consultó por astenia y adinamia. Se le diagnosticó una crisis depresiva y se le hospitalizó en una unidad de salud mental. En el examen médico se encontró malnutrición, anemia ferropénica e hipovitaminosis B12. En el paciente con enfermedad mental severa es necesario superar el estigma de enfermedad mental y ofrecer servicios médicos integrales de calidad.
