With this volume begins the new periodicity of Universitas Odontologica. Starting in 2020, the journal will be published by continuous volume and not by issue. Any article received (that meets the entrance presentation and methodology requirements) will be refereed by external peers to the institution where the authors are affiliated and, if accepted, the necessary corrections will be completed, edited, and published immediately.
In addition to the studies published in our ten regular sections, volume 39 of Universitas Odontologica includes the dossiers "Oral Microbiology and Public Health" and "Challenges and Alternatives for Latin American Dental Education."
